One Leg Challenge

“Train and beat your own Balance”

Virtuagym was looking for games for their kiosk. (Kiosk is a device with a touch screen and a Kinect v2 that is placed in their client’s gyms.) Right now the kiosk helps trainers and coaches making exercise schedules and lets users see how to do exercises with help of 3d animations. they want games/applications that help measure the user’s reaction, flexibility, balance, and strength. After some research and testing, we decided that the main focus of our game will be a balance.

One leg challenge is an application that helps people test their balance. There are 3 targets that a player has to follow in order to measure their balance. The application is there to measure the balance of a person so that a trainer can create a workout routine that’s tailored to their needs.

My Input

For this project, I was the head/only game designer on the team. My input was thinking about good concepts working them out. See if they work, testing them, are the concepts entertaining, how well can you train with these exercises, and are these concepts achievable before the deadline.
