The Police lance different kinds of apps in which civilians can help the police with telephone games. In these games, players help the police by looking for stolen cars, missing persons, or criminals. In the case of Automon civilians can help by finding stolen cars.
In this project, I worked together with the company Superbuff to make this game happen for the national police.

AUTOMON
In this game, your main purpose is to help the police finding stolen cars. The police have noticed that a lot of civilians are willing to help the police out during a missing person case. So the police thought that maybe civilians want to help out in other areas as well. They even offer real money awards whenever someone spotted a stolen car.
In this game, you get updates on new stolen cars and where they have been spotted before they were stolen. players can also scan every car they see by looking at their number plates then they get the information if a car has been stolen or not. by scanning certain cars and/or scanning in certain areas the players get rewarded by achievements, car parts, and stickers. every player has a digital car that they can adjust by changing certain parts and adding stickers. The more you play the more rewards you’ll receive.

MY ROLE
In this project, I made the game design document, flowcharts, mock-ups and came up with the achievement system to reward players. The reward system was based on data of stolen cars and where stolen cars are usually found. for instance, most stolen car types in the Netherlands are BMW’s, VW’s and Audi’s based on this and other data I collected we came up with different achievements that would help people looking in the right direction.
